Frequently asked questions
Is port 25 really open by default on every plan?
Yes. Port 25 is unblocked from the moment your VPS is provisioned — no tickets, no 48-hour waiting period. You can verify with `telnet smtp.gmail.com 25` or try a test send right after deploy.
Can I send bulk email / newsletters from this VPS?
Yes, as long as you follow good sending hygiene (double opt-in, unsubscribe links, SPF/DKIM/DMARC configured correctly). We do not allow unsolicited spam, and repeated ISP/blocklist complaints will cause the account to be suspended.
Do I need to set up reverse DNS (PTR)?
Strongly recommended. Open a ticket and we'll set your PTR record to the hostname of your choice. Most inbox providers (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo) require matching forward/reverse DNS to accept mail from a new IP.
Which locations have port 25 open?
All of them. Europe, Americas, Asia, Middle East — every region listed on the location filter allows outbound SMTP on port 25.
Can I install Mailwizz / Postal / Mautic?
Yes. You get full root access and KVM virtualization — any mail platform (Postfix, Exim, Haraka, Postal, Mailwizz, Sendy, Mautic, etc.) runs without restrictions.
What if my IP gets listed on a blocklist?
Open a support ticket and we'll reissue a fresh IP once. Continued listings usually point at content or opt-in issues on the sender side; we'll work with you to diagnose before suspending the VPS.
